Growing up in the 1990s, two things really shaped me as a person; My dad's record collection and the legendary Nintendo 64 me and my sister got one fateful Christmas, back in 1996.

I spent many evenings playing air guitar to bands like Judas Priest, Van Halen and the Scorpions, but I also fell in love with the brilliant soundscapes of Koji Kondo, David Wise and Grant Kirkhope, as I was enchanted by the magical music that accompanied all the epic adventures those plastic cartridges held inside.

As a teenager I traded my air guitar for a real one and spent almost two decades playing in various rock and heavy metal bands, touring, writing music and doing studio work.

 

My love for video games and the music that inspired me decades ago never waned though, so I took all the experiences from my rockin' days and decided to pursue a lifelong dream of becoming a video game composer!
